How soon will my Roper St. Francis coverage begin?

The following benefit selections take effect on the 1st day of the month after your 30th day of employment:

  • Medical
  • Pharmacy
  • Flexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Account
  • Dental
  • Vision
  • Critical Illness Insurance
  • Accident Insurance

The following benefit selections take effect on your 90th day of employment (for full-time teammates):

  • Basic Life and AD&D

Step 2

Complete your selections within 31 days

  • You must complete your benefits selections within 31 days of your date of hire by visiting the RSFBenefits portal at
  • Click on “Create an Account” and provide your identifying information: last name, date of birth, and last four digits of your Social Security number to complete the security check.
  • Create your username and password. The recommended username is RSF + your five- or six-digit employee number (ex. RSF00000 or RSF000000).
  • Choose your communications preferences and answer any questions related to additional communications. RSF Benefits will only reach out to you with important reminders regarding your enrollment and enrollments throughout the year.
  • Click on “Get Started” to begin your enrollment.

Confirm Your Selections

  • Print your confirmation statement from the website as proof of enrollment. No confirmation statements will be mailed to your home. 
  • Please note that adding dependents to the plans require you to submit the necessary documentation prior to your enrollment deadline.
